At TMS Global, we believe every person and congregation has a unique place in God’s mission. On June 7 at the North Georgia Global Methodist Church Annual Conference in Greensboro, Georgia, we witnessed that truth embodied in the ordination of one of our own leaders.

A Milestone in Ministry

Sarah Parham—our Vice President for Mobilization—was ordained as an elder in the Global Methodist Church. Witnessed by family, friends, and colleagues, the ceremony included the laying on of hands over each ordinand. The Rev. Frank Decker, former TMS Global vice president and cross-cultural witness, was among those who participated in this moving service of blessing of Sarah.

From Chemist to Campus Minister to Mobilizer

Before Sarah joined TMS Global, she followed God’s call from the laboratory bench as a chemist to the campus chapel as a minister. In each role, God stirred within her a deeper passion to engage the world with the Gospel. Today, Sarah leads our mobilization efforts—helping churches and individuals discern their calling, develop a missional mindset, and live on mission wherever God has placed them.

“Sarah’s ordination—not only affirms her personal calling but strengthens TMS Global’s connection to the Global Methodist Church,” shares TMS Global President Jim Ramsay.

“Having served alongside Sarah for a decade, I’ve seen her pastoral gifts and leadership in action. Her formal connection deepens our shared history and opens new doors for collaboration.”
