Activate Training & Coaching

Activate is a process that transforms your outreach into a vision for active community engagement. The process begins with a highly interactive workshop that informs and inspires your entire church to be on mission. Following the workshop, your church will receive personalized coaching to discern & implement a six-part mobilization plan that activates your congregation live out their unique missional calling locally and globally.

Activate Training

TMS Global’s Activate Training is the first step your church takes in discovering and living out a unique missional vision and calling from God. The 5-hour event is facilitated by one of our TMS Global Activate Coaches and includes a variety of learning exercises for anyone in your church. It is important for key church leaders, stakeholders in the congregation, and anyone passionate about mission to attend.

Activate Coaching

Each church is unique as they live out their missional calling in their local context. Our coaches walk alongside churches to help them strategically and deeply cultivate and engage the missional heart of the congregation.

Three phases of the coaching process:

VISION (6 months)

Church’s mobilization team is formulated prayerfully discerning and defining mission vision, while identifying key focus areas.

ACTIVATE (9 months)

Prayerfully discern a strategic plan, which includes key elements such as partnership strategies and focused prayer for the mission. Expand short-term service opportunities and launch a Global Impact Celebration to engage and inspire, and increased funding to strengthen and advance mission initiatives.

EVALUATE (6 months)

Refine and evaluate key aspects of the Activate Coaching Process.

A coaching relationship with TMS Global is a personalized experience. A dedicated coach will walk alongside you, on a monthly basis, for one-to-two years. Our coach will provide assessments, tools, resources, and guidance to help integrate missions into every aspect of your church's life.
