When Marsha Mullett first became her church’s volunteer Director of Missions, she didn’t consider herself a world missions’ expert. A dentist by profession, she stepped into the role after her pastor sensed God leading their congregation toward a deeper global vision.

Through TMS Global’s church ministries training, their congregation moved from supporting scattered projects to building intentional, relational partnerships. One year, after a Global Impact Celebration weekend, their church’s mission giving grew from $30,000 to nearly $200,000 in faith commitments.

“It wasn’t about going somewhere to build something,” Marsha’s husband, Dan, recalls. “It was about building relationships. That changed how we understood missions.”

Years later, that same conviction shaped Marsha and Dan’s personal giving. After walking through a thoughtful estate planning process, they realized they would have more to give than they once imagined. The question shifted from how much can we afford? to what matters most?

For them, the answer was clear: reaching the least reached and strengthening the Kingdom through organizations that pursue excellence in training, mobilization, and care.

“As we saw the intentionality and quality of TMS Global’s work,” Dan says, “it felt like a wise place to invest what God has entrusted to us.”

Today, Marsha serves on the TMS Global Board of Directors. Together, she and Dan have included TMS Global in their estate plans, not out of obligation, but because of what they describe as a “natural progression” of stewardship.

“When you begin to see God’s heart,” Dan reflects, “giving becomes something you want to do. We’re simply partnering with Him in what already belongs to Him.”

Their legacy will help ensure that churches are strengthened, cross-cultural workers are supported, and the least reached continue to encounter Jesus for generations to come.
