Recruiting missionaries requires creative mobilization approaches. Our goal is to bring in 40 new, approved missionaries through our bi-annual Candidate Assessment and Orientation events this year. We also hope to recruit and equip 10 volunteer mobilizers who will serve as an extension of our mobilization department in their respective communities. We will access connections with churches, campus ministry groups, and other key people to help us identify potential missionary candidates. Additionally, a part-time staff member serves on the campus of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, deepening connections with students and staff there, and representing The Mission Society on other area campuses.
